10:30 AM :: MOMMY & ME YOGA @ First Christian Church

Strengthen your body, relax your mind, and connect with your baby. Special attention is given to the realignment of your body - especially tense shoulders, sore backs, and weak core muscles. During the class, your baby can be close to you on the mat or actually participate in the movements. As a bonus, babies are treated to a short session of gentle baby massage at the end of class. Babies 4 weeks to pre-crawling welcome. Yogalates combines the strengthening exercises of Pilates and the flexibility exercises of yoga. Together, these modalities use the mind-body connection to improve our physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. 8:30 AM :: YOGA STRETCH @ First Christian Church

Yoga helps us balance ourselves in the middle of a busy life, melting tension and stress in the body and mind. This Yoga Stretch class will release the blocked energy that causes fatigue, frustration, anxiety, and agitation. By staying in poses for 2-5 minutes, space is created for deep healing and rejuvenation. This class is a beneficial experience for everyone, no matter how much experience you have with yoga! 4:30 PM :: YIN YOGA @ Wellville Massage & Healing Arts (beginning Feb 25, 2018)

A calming and passive class, Yin Yoga moves us through long supported seated and supine poses. Each pose is typically held for 3 to 5 minutes with props underneath you in order to access the deepest layers of fascia. If you work at a desk, spend long hours in the car, or are trying to amp up your seated meditation practice, this is the class for you! By stretching the connective tissue, Yin Yoga conditions you to sit longer—and more comfortably.
