As a multifaceted artist and very-recently-chilled-out yogini, and for the past three years, I've been blending animal medicine cards and yoga to heal my anxiety and disordered eating.
These practices have completely changed my life. As a Type A over-achiever, I spent so much of my life running myself into the ground -- doing everything for everyone else, always striving to do more, to be better -- until I was emaciated and exhausted.
When my longterm relationship and my career began to crumble at the same time, I knew I had to make a change.
I had to find a way to rest. I had to figure out who I was -- even though being alone or being still terrified me.
And then I found a stack of animal medicine cards.
I've started documenting and codifying the practices that helped me find my voice and heal my relationship with my body. I am creating a clear system that's easy to reference so that you can apply them too!
